Jim Farrell was appointed to the County Legislature in 2002 because of his commitment to the Liverpool area.
Prior to becoming a County Legislator, Jim served for four years as Mayor of the Village of Liverpool.
Jim is a businessman, the owner of Pella of CNY, Inc. which employs 28 people in Central New York.
Jim was president of the Liverpool Citizens' Coalition
Jim is a member of Central New York Council of the NYS Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors
He is a member of the Greater Liverpool Rotary Club
Jim is a member of the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce and serves as a member of Government Modernization Taskforce
Jim is on the Syracuse 20/20 Government Modernization Committee and is a member of speakers bureau
Jim is a member of the Labrador Mountain Ski Patrol.
Married to Christine Farrell for 26 years
Jim has three grown children, Sarah, Kate and Patrick.
Jim is known for his commitment to the Community and his ability to make a difference.
